Guyana’s 2025 Monster Mash Already Under Way

Minister of Culture, Youth, and Sport, Charles Ramson Jr., shared this during a press conference at the ministry’s office on Main Street, Georgetown. He highlighted key events planned for Mash 2025, including Calypso Monarch, Soca Monarch, Dancehall Monarch, Splashramani, Masharama, Republic Flag Raising, Chutney Monarch, the Costume and Float Parade, and the Panorama Steel Band Competition.

Mashramani 2025 will take place from February 14 to 24, under the theme: “Expressing our culture and creativity as One Guyana.”

Minister Ramson announced that preparations for the float parade started early. Designers have already begun working and secured funding to present their proposals to various ministries. He noted this is the first time early preparations like this are being done in Guyana.
